If you really want to carry a personal computer with internet access functionality in your handbag or in your pocket, then let me tell you that you are going to have something to cheer on very soon. LG Telecom is going to launch a “Touch-Web” mobile phone which allows its users to experience internet browsing. The LG-LH2300 Touch Web phone will be launched in South Korea in early April, but it is not yet confirmed if LG-LH2300 will come to other market in future. You know that LG has been trying to position in the touch screen segment of mobile phone. Now, the company is going to provide full-fledged internet accessibility in a touch screen mobile phone that the company titles “Touch-Web” phone.

Features of the LG-LH2300 Touch Web phone

The first thing you need to know when it comes to the major features of LG-LH2300 Touch Web phone is its 3" touch screen display at 800 x 480 resolution. With its VGA (800x480) 3-inch LCD display screen, users can enjoy quality DVD-playback and can navigate the websites at a good level of resolution.

The LG-LH2300 Touch Web phone will make your life a lot easier when you will browse through internet. A jogwheel is provided in the phone by which you can scroll the webpage, instead of following complex functions. The phone also includes a quick search icon by which you will have quicker access to the browser.

A new mobile-web centric phone has been unveiled by LG in its native Korea market -- the LG-LH2300 Touch Web Phone. The LG-LH2300 features a 3-inch wide touchscreen LCD with WVGA resolution. Of course, as the phone is web-centric, you can enjoy full internet-browsing capabilities featuring a jog wheel, an Internet hot key, and a Quick Search icon.

The phone set also features a 3 megapixel camera with auto focus. The camera also has a frontal view so that you can use it for video calls. With its T-DMB mobile TV feature, you can have access to digital over-the-air TV. The LG-LH2300 Touch Web phone also offers a microSD memory card slot that you can use for media storage.

LG also promises a very media-focused device with a 3-megapixel camera at the back (plus front camera for video calls), a T-DMB tuner for picking up digital over-the-air TV in its native country, and a microSD card slot for media storage. "Grape Wine" and "Navy Blue" versions of the LH2300 will be available in early April through LG's own carrier LG TeleCom, where it will sell for between $594 and $694 in local currency.

So, you can see LG Telecom is going to market the phone in two colors: "Grape Wine" and "Navy Blue". No doubt the phone seems to be very attractive and is expected to be a possible competitor for Apple’s iphone. However, I am not yet sure about its exact price tag as different sources shows different price range.

Though the LG-LH2300 Touch Web phone has some cool features for the users, the market is abuzz with a few questions regarding the phone set.

Crunchgear reported:

Expect LG to play up the phone’s Internet capabilities, which may explain why it’s also going by the unfortunate name Touch Web. Supposedly it comes with a “full” browser. What exactly that means, who knows? Is there Flash support? Can I zoom in and out as easily as I can (but don’t) with the iPhone? Tough questions, to be sure.

I think, the LG-LH2300 Touch Web phone is going to have an instant hit in Korean market with its exclusive offers. I hope, LG bosses will prompt to release the set globally in future.
