Euro 2008 without Turkey’s Hamit Altintop?

Hamit Altintop is a midfield player for Turkish National football team. He plays for the German club Bayern Munich. So, I don’t need to remind you that Hamit Altintop is now one of the top players of Turkey. If you are a fan of Hamit Altintop then there is a bad news waiting for you. I guess from looking at the headline of this entry, you have already guessed the bad news. Yes, Hamit Altintop is injured and there is hardly any possibility of him playing in Euro 2008.

It will surely affect Turkey in a bad way. Turkey is in a strong group with Switzerland and Austria in Euro 2008.

By the way, on a different note, you should read this entry about poor rural children in Nepal getting OLPC laptops:

Nepal Government Introduced OLPC Project in the Country

You know that OLPC laptops have internet connection. So, I guess that many people in rural areas of Nepal might have the opportunity to know about Euro 2008.
