Italy Coach Keeps the Door for Antonio Cassano and Amauri

Ahead of EURO 2008, Italy coach Roberto Donadoni has said that door is open for striker Antonio Cassano and Palermo forward Amauri. Antonio Cassano has made the headlines for number of times for his indiscipline. Amauri, on the other hand, has appealed for Italian citizenship and the Brazilian born player is expected to get it soon. Before heading off to take part in the EURO 2008 tournament, Italy will play some friendly matches.

Sportinglife reported:
"As soon as he (Amauri) becomes Italian, then we will discuss it - I certainly cannot ignore him," Donadoni told Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport.
On Cassano, Donadoni said: "Antonio knows that 90% is down to him: how he behaves, his effort and workload all put together."
