ICL supports BCCI for Harbhajan’s Issue and others effects

ICL has supported to the BCCI standing on the Harbhajan Singh who has banded for his comment the Australian all-rounder Andrew Symond. After a trail ICC banned Harbhajan banded. BCCI strongly supported Bhajji. The rebel ICL also supports BCCI’s decision. .

"We support the BCCI's stand on the issue of unjustified action against Harbhajan Singh," said Balwinder Singh Sandhu, Director of ICL and former Indian team player.

"As a cricketer, I feel that cricket should not suffer due to such controversies and the time is ripe that ICC should decide what statement can be connected to racism, because for Indian players calling donkey or monkey does not amount to racism but for Australian players it may be," he said.

"As a cricketer, I suggest that captains of both the teams including Anil Kumble and Ricky Pointing should sit together and resolve the issue once for all," he said.

I think it is not a good sing which BCCI did. It could feel a bad effect on other counters too. Sooner or later other countries could do so. Then it will be more undisciplined among the cricket playing country in the world.

ICL player Daryl Tuffey, participated a 50overs Match

BCCI is not happy to New Zealand Cricket that they have allowed to play one of their players during the home series between the host and Bangladesh. New Zealand fast bowler Daryl Tuffey participated in a worm-up match against Bangladesh. He played on behalf of Auckland. There was a rule of BCCI that if any players can sign up with ICL he will be eliminated form all kinds of international cricket. Basically, BCCI request all the countries to take these steps.

"All the boards had agreed in principle at the last ICC CEO's meeting that any player who is part of an unauthorised tournament will not be encouraged," Niranjan Shah, the BCCI secretary, told the Times of India. "This is a violation of a gentleman's agreement. Lalit Modi [a BCCI vice-president] will write to New Zealand Cricket to protest against this move."

After completing his ICL commitment, Tuffey was expected to play grade cricket in Sydney. But having declined a contract with Auckland for 2007-08 in October, he decided to return to New Zealand recently.

I think all bindings’ will be removed sooner or later. Fist, New Zealand shoed a softness and by the time being others countries will do so.
